Warranty and Refunds
When you choose one of our 3D-printed lamps, you're getting a product crafted through a unique additive manufacturing process. Unlike items mass-produced from molds, each of our lamps is built layer-by-layer, making every piece genuinely one-of-a-kind.
Our goal is always to deliver the highest quality, but it's important to understand that 3D printing naturally involves some minor, aesthetic characteristics that don't impact the lamp's function or durability. These are simply part of what makes 3D-printed items special. Please keep in mind the following:
-
Subtle Layer Lines: You'll notice faint horizontal lines on the surface of your lamp. These are known as "layer lines" and are a normal and expected result of how FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printers build an object. They're a hallmark of the printing process, not a flaw.
-
Minor Surface Details: Occasionally, you might spot very small marks, slight texture variations, or tiny bumps. These can occur where the printer's path starts and stops, or due to slight shifts during the printing process. They’re usually very subtle and don't detract from the lamp's overall appeal.
-
Color & Finish: While we strive for consistency, there might be slight variations in color or surface finish between different batches of material or individual prints. This is a common aspect of working with raw materials.
What's Considered Standard
The characteristics described above are considered an inherent part of purchasing a 3D-printed item and are not classified as defects. They won't qualify for returns or refunds based on aesthetic differences alone.
Materials & Care Instructions
-
Our Materials: We use high-quality, durable, and non-toxic PLA or PETG filament for our lamps.
-
Heat Sensitivity: Please be aware that PLA can be sensitive to high temperatures, To preserve your lamp, avoid placing it in direct sunlight for extended periods or near strong heat sources like radiators.
-
Cleaning: A gentle wipe with a dry or slightly damp, soft cloth is all that's needed to keep your lamp looking great. Please do not use harsh chemical cleaners as they can damage the finish.
